ABOUT
Anne Hara is a designer and artisan whose work explores the dialogue between traditional Japanese art forms and Western jewelry-making techniques.
Inspired by the structures of nature and the tradition of Japanese craft, the studio creates bold, abstract objects that bridge Eastern and Western perspectives.
approach
Anne's practice is a dialogue between technical rigor and a reverence for the hand-sculpted form. Every piece is meticulously modeled and finished by hand within her Tokyo and Karuizawa studios - a process that ensures the designer's original intent remains visible through every stage of creation.
By bridging the organic textures of Japanese heritage with the structural precision of Western construction, the studio develops a design language that is both contemporary and timeless. These are considered objects, crafted for the collector who seeks the intersection of cultural heritage and technical excellence.

INSPIRATION
Inspiration is drawn from the meditative rigor of Japanese arts - specifically the fluid blues of aizome, the earth-tones of hand-thrown ceramics, and the architectural heritage of Yamanashi stone-cutting.
